This is the calculation most often got wrong, and it is worth doing before you order rather than after. Port count is the easy half. Power budget is the half that catches people.
A switch with 24 PoE ports and a 370 W budget delivers an average of roughly 15 W per port if every port is loaded — comfortable for standard Dahua IP cameras in Oman, tight for PTZ units, and not enough if several cameras run heaters, which they do on Oman rooftops.
