Transparency Rates — Understanding Your Options
A transparent LED display uses sparse, precisely-spaced LED dots so most of the glass stays see-through when the screen is off. Transparency rates typically run 60–90% — the percentage of visible light that passes straight through the transparent LED panel when nothing is playing. Choose the rate that fits your brief: brighter content, or clearer view.
60–70% Transparency — Content-First
A denser LED array delivers a brighter, sharper image on the transparent LED screen. The glass is still see-through but reads more like a digital display than a window. The right choice for retail storefronts and shop-front transparent LED signage where the content has to cut through glare.
80–90% Transparency — Glass-First
Sparser LED spacing on the transparent LED panel keeps the glass looking almost untouched when the screen is off. Ideal for premium retail flagships, hotel lobbies and architectural facades where the transparency is the feature and the content is a supporting layer, not the main event.
Transparent LED Display Installation on Existing Glass
Unlike an indoor LED display or a conventional shop sign that needs a mounting frame, a transparent LED display retrofits directly to existing glass using optically-clear adhesive or slim aluminium fasteners. No structural work, no replaced panes, no lost visibility while your store keeps trading. The entire transparent LED screen is lightweight enough to stay on the glass it was installed on.
Adhesive Mount

Pixel Pitch on a Transparent LED Screen
Transparent LED panels commonly use P3.9, P4.8, P5 and P6 pitches. Finer pitch (P3.9) gives sharper images but reduces transparency, because each dot has to sit closer to its neighbour. Coarser pitch (P5–P6) keeps the glass more see-through at lower on-screen resolution — a fair trade for long viewing distances on architectural facades.
